Games Workshop has posted a ton of sweet art plates for the Collegia Titanicus in honor of The Great Slaughter coming. They look awesome.

Titans in the Warhammer 40,000 universe are impressive and imposing. These stories-tall god-machines stride across the battlefield and lay waste to anything unfortunate enough to be down range. At the same time each one is carefully maintained and cherished like a sacred relic or revered like a chapel. They might be instruments of war but they are also works of art.

That’s why I’m excited that GW has released a TON of these art plates that feature the various Legios of the Collegia Titanicus. You might have seen some of these from Adeptus Titanicus. Or you might have skipped on those books because you didn’t play it. Well now that Titans are going to be widely used in The Great Slaughter in Legions Imperialis, it’s time to take a better look at these Titan Legions!

“Legions Imperialis – The Great Slaughter is the first expansion book for Legions Imperialis. It covers the Battle for Beta-Garmon, and the seismic clash that went on to be known as Titandeath.

It’s a bit of a sore spot for most Princeps – but a great slice of Horus Heresy history if you love the idea of smouldering god-engines – so to take the sting out of it all, we’re taking a look at some of the heraldry of the Collegia Titanicus.”

If you really want a good look at these art plates, be sure to check out the full sized art sheets directly from WarCom. There’s also a handful of sweet looking ones for the Knight Houses, too.

Personally, I think these are inspirational. These types of sheets make me want to bust out my Titans and get them on the Tabletop. The full sized versions are also pretty detailed and you can really get a good look at the heraldry of each Titan Legion. It’s tough choosing a favorite!

Let us know which Titan Legion you’re going to be taking to Beta-Garmon to battle in The Great Slaughter!
