Pathfinder 2’s Remastered ‘Monster Core’ Comes Out Next Month!
At long last, the Pathfinder 2 Remaster Project completes, with the upcoming release of the Pathfinder Monster Core for 2nd Edition.
The Pathfinder 2nd Edition Remaster Project has been a long, concerted effort to revamp Pathfinder 2E’s rules while also divesting them of the OGL. And next month, the remastered core books will all be available at last, when Pathfinder: Monster Core releases. In this book, a ton of new monsters await, with new dragons, updated mythological monsters, and a whole lot more.
What’s interesting here, about the timing of this release, is that there’s a sort of pattern to these releases. It’s been true since the first days of D&D and remains true to this day. It all starts with a player’s handbook, then follows with a guide for dungeon/game masters, and ends with a manual full of monsters. That seems as true in Pathfinder and Tales of the Valiant and all the other D&D alikes as it is in actual D&D.
At any rate, the circle is complete. Or at least it will be in March.
