Warhammer 40,000 X Call of Duty: Dataminer Finds Unannounced Skins
Call of Duty appears to be gearing up to get Grimdark according to these data mined leaks. Get out your tinfoil hats for this one.
Last month IGN reported on a dataminer’s findings that there would be a Warhammer 40,000 Crossover with Call of Duty. The story has developed further with IGN reporting on a new batch of leaks detailing the actual skins in the game.
According to the reporting the new Space Marine skins may have something to do with an upcoming special Juggernaut game mode. This is backed up by the dataminer claiming these files were found in the Juggernaut files.

“Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone are in the middle of Season 2, which promises a Juggermosh LTM in-season. This mode sees all players play as a Juggernaut in third-person, which would lend itself to seeing the Power Armour in all its glory were it to be aligned with the Warhammer 40,000 crossover. Modern Warfare 3 Season 2 Reloaded is set for early March.”
With Space Marine II still a ways out, fans are looking forward to seeing (and playing) as Space Marines in the digital realm. If you do some quick looking online you’ll be able to find images yourself but, because these aren’t verified by either Acti-Blizz or Games Workshop, we’re not going to be posting those images here.
However, the videos on Twitter/X and Youtube do show the Power Armour-clad superhumans posing and in various intro animations. They are holding modern firearms and clearly some of the animations (if they are real) are just placeholders. There’s one of a Blood Angel who’s clipping through his Power Armour for instance.
Personally, I do think it would be cool to see Space Marine skins in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone. That game is turning more and more into it’s own Fortnite-esque metaverse thanks to all the Operator Skins out there. So, at this point, sure…why not have a few Space Marines running around, too.

But uh…can we get some new weapon models for them. It seems like Heresy to have them holding anything modern. And it’s not like there aren’t plenty of weapons in the Imperial Armoury to choose from…
What do you think? Should CoD bring on the Space Marines?
