Warhammer 40K: Asmodai And Dark Angels Inner Circle Are Excellent Updates
The Dark Angels are getting updates with the new Asmodai and Inner Circle Companions. We’ve got them built and are taking a closer look!
If there’s one type of model that Games Workshop knows how to do it’s Space Marines. And this go around the Dark Angels are getting some new updates to classic units. Asmodai and the Inner Circle have both gotten glow-ups to Primaris status. If you like your Space Marines to have that robe and power armour look then you’re going to love these new sculpts.
Asmodai, Master of Repentance
Asmodai’s new kit is not just an imposing new pose. He’s also got a bunch of various options you can build his with. If you want massive plumes of smoke, you can do that. Do you want a Helmet? How about a hood?! Maybe both? Sure! You’ve got details to spare and different ways to do just that. Again, his stature is more in line with a Primaris Marine, too so it’s quite an update for this remorseless Master of Repentance!
Inner Circle Companions
The Inner Circle Companions are back, too. The Dark Angels had a unit of Robed Marines in the past and now they are once again back with a big Primaris-sized update. You get three in the box and there are alternate poses for each model. Additionally, you do get to tweak subtle details here and there. The little braziers on can be built with or without smoke for example.
I personally really like the robe call-back to old school Dark Angels. I used to have an entire unit of them and it’s cool to see them reborn as Primaris Marines with these massive weapons. It’s a very good time to be a Dark Angels fan!
