No Dune costume is more exacting and iconic than the Fremen stillsuit. Villeneuve’s film features the stunning costume design of Hollywood legend Jacqueline West, and I haven’t stopped drooling since the first film dropped in 2018. The design of the stillsuits is both elegant and mysterious, functional and otherworldly.
Two years ago, cosplayer Alyson Tabbitha took on the challenge of recreating West’s stillsuit design. Not only is the resulting cosplay something worthy of the big screen, she has also shared her process.

Jennifer is a lifelong enthusiast of retro video games and loves Dungeons & Dragons, urban fantasy, tabletop games, VR technology, and historical archery. She has set National Records through USA Archery’s Traditional Division for Asiatic Bows and earned 4th Place in the World Nomad Games in Kyrgyzstan in 2018 for Women’s Korean Archery. Jennifer is currently studying for her Masters's Degree in Organizational Leadership.
