Blood Bowl: New Gnome Team Arrives From Warhammer World Anniversary
The Gnomes are making an appearance in Blood Bowl and they have a menagerie of friends to help them succeed.
Wait, I thought it was just Halflings and Dwarves in Blood Bowl? Well, guess again! The Gnomes are joining the pitch and they are bringing a different sort of determination to the bloody game of fantasy football!
“Gnomes are avid Blood Bowl fans who usually stick to their own secluded burrows, but every once in a while a team will enter the ‘big’ world and make a name for themselves in the leagues – usually through the popularity of their adorable woodland compatriots rather than any actual skill or success.”
Gnomes Enter The Pitch
I was NOT expecting this reveal at the Warhammer World Anniversary. But here we are and we’ve got an invasion of Gnomes to deal with. Check this new Stunty team out.
The Gnomes will have access to the aforementioned Stunty rule as well as things like Jump Up and Wrestle as skills. That should keep them in the game even with a low AV. Personally, if I had to play against a Gnome team it would be a whole lot of penalty plays on my part. Forget winning, I’m putting them down. But that’s just me.
It’s not just cute critters and Gnomes either. Naturally, they have access to some larger friends, too. The Altern Forest Treemen are on their side and add some much needed stature to the team — even if they are a little slower moving.
Again, I’m actually genuinely surprised Gnomes are coming to Blood Bowl. They also share a rivalry with Halflings so if you were to make an all Stunty league I’m sure you’d be in for a few food fights…
