A lich dollhouse, some techmancers, and lots of resources for players and DMs alike this week in 5E compatible RPGs.

It’s time to roll the dice on new releases! Come check out this week’s batch of brand-new 5E compatible tabletop role-playing games.

The Liches Dollhouse

The Lich Korellan, known as the Toymaker, has prowled the dark corners of the world for over an age. He leaves behind abominations of necromancy and transmutation that resemble children’s toys of one sort or another.

Recently the heroes of the world have closed in on The Toymaker, seeking vengeance for the countless souls he has taken. Only one obstacle stands between The Toymaker and the bite of justice’s blade: The Toymaker’s soulstone. Every time it is discovered, The Toymaker spirits it away, leaving only the memory of the dollhouse which contains it.

However, a plan has been hatched and your party is the lynchpin. The dollhouse has been found and a grand ambush planned for The Toymaker.

Your part is simple but vital, when you get the signal that the ambush has begun and the lich is distracted you must launch into the house to destroy the soulstone within.

So… will you be the one to storm the Liches Dollhouse?

Proactive Roleplaying

This unique new RPG guidebook is designed to transform gameplay in ways that empower players to create their own motivations and goals, then proactively pursue them – in effect, guiding the narrative of their characters, rather than having the Game Master do it. Traditional TTRPGs have for decades relied on reactive player responses in order to function. In other words, there is an evil wizard out to take over the world. The player characters are good, therefore it’s their duty to go stop the wizard. Game play then follows a traditional storytelling narrative of protagonists working to return their world back to the status quo, or an improved position. Bad guy makes a move, good guys move to stop him. The problem with this style of gameplay is that players are always reacting to what’s put in front of them.

Post Apocalyptic Classes: Techmancer

Welcome to a world ravaged by the cataclysmic fallout of a technological apocalypse, where remnants of advanced civilization lie scattered amidst the ruins. In this dystopian future, where the line between magic and technology blurs, one class stands out as the master of arcane machinery and ancient artifacts – the Techmancer.

The Techmancer is a visionary scientist, harnessing the power of salvaged technology to wield arcane energies and shape the very fabric of reality. With a deep understanding of both science and mysticism, they manipulate machinery, control energy, and unlock the secrets of ancient relics to survive and thrive in a world gone mad.
