Case File 02: Fiery Angels, the first major expansion for Blade Runner The Roleplaying Game, is coming on April 2, 2024! Featuring a new thrilling investigative scenario and a host of in-world handouts, photos, maps, and more, Free League Publishing invites players to step back into the neon-soaked streets of Los Angeles, 2037.
The new investigation starts off with the Blade Runners assigned to question a suspect arrested while trying to infiltrate the Wallace Corporation Memory Vaults. Player characters must contend with physical, mental, and moral challenges as they follow the case down a perilous path that explores the boundaries of Replicant technology and its consequences. Case File 02: Fiery Angels can be played as a stand-alone adventure, but also continues story elements from Case File 01: Electric Dreams, which was included in the Blade Runner RPG Starter Set. Following the same deluxe format and packaging as Case File 01: Electric Dreams, Case File 02: Fiery Angels features a new thrilling investigative scenario and a host of in-world handouts, photos, maps, and more.
Of course, this expansion is more than just an adventure. It’s a boxed set containing an illustrated scenario book and eleven different handouts for players to sift through. These game aids contain information your Blade Runners will need to solve the case and increase immersion.
It’s the kind of thing that hearkens back to the early days of big campaign boxes like Masks of Nyarlathotep. Alongside the handouts are seven full-color maps, an evidence envelope, and custom NPC cards for the major figures in the case.
