This week has a brand new Rumor Engine from Games Workshop and we’re not sure if we’re looking at a piece of coral or a fire.

Welcome to another exciting Tuesday! Why is it exciting? Because it’s the day when we get a new Rumor Engine from Games Workshop. This week’s Rumor Engine is also the first in April. What does that have to do with anything? Probably nothing! But let’s take a closer look at the image to find out.

via Warhammer Community

“With a sizzling new edition of Warhammer Age of Sigmar on its way, there’s bound to be loads of cool miniatures just waiting to appear in the Rumour Engine. We’re expecting something ratty this time, but our success rate for predicting what comes out is hovering around 0%. “

Rumor Engine Coral or Fire?

Actually, now that I’ve taken a second to look a little closer, I don’t think it’s either coral or a fire. In fact, It looks more like some kinda antlers or horns. The text from the second part of the Rumor Engine also has a weird “horn” joke. So, while that doesn’t confirm anything, it does lend some support to that.

The text further alludes to this being an Age of Sigmar release on account of the new edition coming this Summer. My first leanings are something more toward the Sylvaneth range. I’m not sure what this could be, but they do have antlers or antler-like appendages on many models.

Those “antlers” could easily be tree branches without leaves. We’ve seen that before. So that’s certainly an option.

Anyone else still hoping we get the return of Orion? I mean, I know he’s not exactly in “regeneration” shape…but it would be kinda cool. Then again, we just got a new “version” of him with Belthanos…is some ways.

Anyhow, if you’ve got any theories on this one please drop us a line in the comments and let us know what you think it could be! That the fun of the Rumor Engine afterall!
