Horus Heresy: Termite Assault Drills Dig Strike From Below
The mighty Termite Assault Drill is coming to Legions Imperials. It’s safe to say this is an infestation on the tabletop.
Get ready to get your assault on from below. The Terrax pattern Termite Assault Drills are coming to poke holes in your opponent’s battleplans. Time to bore into a fresh patch of new subterranean strategies with these transports.
With Transport (2) and Deep Strike each Termite can deliver an angry payload of Legiones Astartes right where they’re most needed, and with twin-linked bolters and a reasonable +1 CAF (representing the melta-cutters on the front), they add a little extra close support – especially in the forthcoming Subterranean Assault formation.

There’s really not a whole lot else to say about these unique transports. What’s really cool is that they are based on the same design as their full sized resin counterparts. They have been redesigned into these smaller packages and are made of plastic of course. If you’re looking for a brand new avenue of getting your troops to the front lines why not try coming up from underneath them!
Horus Heresy Thursdays Hits The Pause Button
In a related bit of news, WarCom has announced that they are going to be pausing the Heresy Thursday feature for a few months. It’s not going away but they are going to be moving their focus towards the upcoming Age of Sigmar release. Heresy Thursday will return later this Summer.
Also, this does not mean that Warhammer: The Horus Heresy or Warhammer: Legions Imperialis are getting shut down. It’s just this particular article series is going on hiatus for now. Here’s the official statement:
If you are a Horus Heresy fan you’re not getting left behind. The Heresy will continue. Hopefully this gives folks a chance to play a little catch-up on all the new kits that have recently hit the shelves. I know there’s a fair bit of Solar Auxilia units still slated for release, too!
