Games are what binds all living things. Books surround us and penetrate us. Merchandise binds the galaxy together.

The Clone Wars Board Game

Star Wars: Clone Wars board game is a game we’ve covered in more detail before. But in short, it’s based on the Pandemic series of games. It has the same foundation, but instead of deadly viruses, you’re battling deadly droids. There are different scenarios to play and, overall, a more dynamic experience than base Pandemic. It’s a fantastic game absolutely worth checking out, even if you’re not normally into board games.

The Grand Army of the Republic is in continuous conflict with the unending waves of Count Dooku’s droid battalions. In Star Wars: The Clone Wars – A Pandemic System Game, stand together as legendary Jedi against the Sith Lord and his Separatist forces. Utilize each character’s unique abilities to cut down swarms of droids, complete missions across the galaxy, and use the power of the Force to battle iconic villains across four exciting scenarios.

Star Wars: Shatterpoint

If you’re not so much into the board variety of games, maybe you prefer some skirmish instead? Star Wars: Shatterpoint is a super accessible squad-based skirmish combat game. Teams are small, each character has cool and interesting abilities, and there are multiple viable paths to victory.

Learning the basics only takes 10 minutes. I know this because I did it! Check out our How To Play video below, starring yours truly.

Iconic characters from across the Star Wars galaxy clash in this new miniatures skirmish game! Star Wars: Shatterpoint invites players to collect, assemble, and paint their own squads of heroes, villains, and their allies and pit them against one another in tense duels to control key battlefield objectives.

Focusing on dynamic fights between key characters and a unique combat system that brings the feel of epic Star Wars duels to the tabletop, Star Wars: Shatterpoint gives players 16 characters to begin building their squads along with a selection of terrain to begin constructing their battlefields. Rounding out the set are all the cards, dice, movement tools and accessory players need to leap into the tactical combat of Star Wars: Shatterpoint!

The Thrawn Trilogy Boxed Set

It’s not all fun and games here at BoLS. I mean… whatever, you know what I mean. The point is that there are ways to enjoy the Star Wars universe outside of games. The Thrawn Trilogy, but specifically Heir to the Empire, is pretty well regarded as one of the best Star Wars books out there. It follows the events after Return of the Jedi and the exploits of Grand Admiral Thrawn. You would be hard-pressed to find a bad review of this book anywhere.

Following the events of Return of the Jedi: Star Wars: Episode VI, Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, and Princess Leia find themselves once again at the center of rebellion. But thousands of light-years away, the last of the Emperor’s warlords—the brilliant and deadly Grand Admiral Thrawn—has taken command of the shattered Imperial fleet, readied it for war, and pointed it at the fragile heart of the New Republic.

Yet most dangerous of all is a new Dark Jedi, risen from the ashes of a shrouded past, consumed by bitterness, and scheming to corrupt Luke to the dark side.

Master Yoda Force Metal Bookend

Speaking of books, you need somewhere to keep them, right? Why not do it in style? The protip here is to slide the bookend itself inside the back cover to give it that floaty look. It will definitely be the coolest and most fun piece of Star Wars merch you’ll ever get—unless someone comes up with some super hilarious cutlery-based puns. But what are the odds of that happening?

Immerse in a galaxy of books with this Jedi-inspired bookend. Ingeniously designed, it creates an optical illusion as if an iconic space sage is using mystical powers to support your books. This bookend is more than a functional item; it’s a tribute to legendary space tales, ideal for holding your favorite space-themed books and DVDs.

…Okay, listen. We both know this rules. Don’t try to pretend it doesn’t.

BoLS might make a few bucks on anything you buy from these links. But, be honest, you don’t enjoy randomly browsing online stores. So let us do the annoying part for you. Help us help you.
