New 5e RPG Roundup: ‘Delve Deck,’ ‘Pirates Rules!’ and More!
Pirate rules, a mysterious haunting, and an undying coven are all in this week’s 5E compatible RPG roundup.
It’s time to roll the dice on new releases! Come check out this week’s batch of brand-new 5E compatible tabletop role-playing games.
Delve Deck
If you’ve ever wanted a pocket sized way to build a quick dungeon for any fantasy RPG, the Delve Deck is for you. Quickly build out entire dungeons with winding turns as you draw cards to construct your map. Play with them by yourself during a solo campaign, or use them to quickly build out a map for your group!
The Delve Deck lets you quickly build unique and fully mapped dungeons in a matter of moments with only a few die rolls. Each dungeon has a difficulty, an aesthetic theme, the types of enemies you’ll face, and a length. Once the broad strokes are filled out, it’s easy to generate unique encounters for each individual room. Draw upon inspiration from the rest of the dungeon, modify existing encounter tables you already use, or use it as a simple guideline as you fill in the details yourself!
Gloryanna: A Beat Most Reviled
A brief adventure featuring the hag coven, HEX DMC. A rough 2-hour adventure for 2nd-tier characters where you delve deep into the northern forests of Adam’s Glen to find a missing noble and face three particularly poetic monsters. No knowledge of Gloryanna needed to run!
Comes with a full PDF; your choice of battle maps, (grided and non-grided), and tokens!
Created originally for my ‘Gloryanna’ setting; a western-fantasy D&D homebrew world. I’d like to freely share this subclass creation with others who might be interested in playing such a class.
Pirates Rules!
The wind in your hair, the briny sea breeze, the roll of the ship, the splash of the waves, the cries of the seagulls, a mug of grog… What could be better than pirate life?
Pirates Rules! is a set of additional rules for D&D 5E with which you can live thrilling maritime adventures. The system is designed to include what’s needed while remaining simple and complete, with a special focus on all those DMs who don’t have much time to prepare their sessions. To use these rules, you just need the core manuals.
Averting the Darkness
The dark lord Queen Nosferatu (aka the Baroness) has plunged the town of LLorkh and its surrounding territories into eternal darkness. Together with the sphere of annihilation and the talisman of the sphere, the Baroness looks to draw the land of Llorkh into the shadowfell. She has captured archangel Avacyn and cursed her into a horribly mutated state in bondage. Destroying the sphere of annihilation can break the curse. The sphere of annihilation can only be destroyed by the sphere of celestial light. The sphere of annihilation can only be used by the wearer of the talisman of the sphere. Likewise, the sphere of celestial light can only be used by the wearer of the talisman of pure good.
Rise of the Black Coven
A dark cult is on the rise… Will your party be able to thwart them?
While traveling the more rural regions of Alexandria, your party will discover the existence of The Black Coven; an evil cult seeking immortality at any cost. They will rescue a group of children from their clutches, and in so doing retrieve a mysterious artifact…the key to the Coven’s plans.
Rise of the Black Coven is a table top role-playing adventure designed for 3-4 players. The game starts with players at level 1 progressing to midlevels strength by the end of the adventure. Designed with replayability in mind, there’s a complete world to explore. You may want to stay long after the main story is done!
