We got our hands on the new Kill Team: Nightmare miniatures and they are a sight to behold!

Warhammer 40,000: Kill Team – Nightmare is the new boxed set coming out that pits the Night Lords vs the Drukhari Mandrakes. These two kill teams bring the creepy for sure with their new models and sculpts. We’ve got a look at these models in the bare plastic and it really makes me wish Game Workshop would make more Chaos Marine Kill Team boxes.

Kill Team – Nemesis Claw

First up is Kill Team Nemesis which is the Night Lords Kill Team. Every single model in the set is based off the current Chaos Space Marine Legionaries box. However, what makes this a Night Lords set is the additional bits that are included. There’s a ton of great stuff in the box that you can use to fully customize your Chaos Marines to make them full blown Night Lords.

Frankly, it’s a shame that Games Workshop hasn’t announced boxed set for the other Chaos Space Marine Legions. Can you imagine an Iron Lords or Word Bearer version of this?! And what about some Emperor’s Children? Kill Team is a great way to introduce these bit and give players a chance to really collect the CSM army they have in their heads base on the Legion of their dreams…or nightmares!

Kill Team – Mandrakes

The Mandrake Kill Team is also brand new. This is a welcome addition to the Drukhari range as they are entirely plastic. They replace the old version of the Mandrakes while still keeping a lot of the theme and style of the original sculpts. If you have any of the older Mandrakes you’ll be able to mix-and-match these new ones in to keep those creepy vibes the same.

I do like the variety of weapons the Mandrakes have in their sculpts now. I also really like the fire coming off various limbs and appendages. Their flayed-skin clothes are also a nice touch — in that very creepy Mandrake way.

Kill Team: Nightmare is up for preorder from Games Workshop this weekend. Snag your pre-order to get your Nightmare on!
