The Dawn Crusade is about to meet its biggest obstacle yet, and it might put Age of Sigmar’s Forces of Sigmar on the back foot for good.

Welcome in, Generals of the Realm! The Twilight of the Realms is upon us as Abraxia leads Archaon’s forces to repel Sigmar’s armies. With AoS 4.0 on the horizon and the Skaven making their presence known, it doesn’t look good for the Forces of Order. Book VI in the Dawnbringers series will close out the epic story and set the stage for the Ruination Chamber to be released. But even with a brand new ruleset just over the horizon, this is definitely a book to add to your collection. It will add some fire to your final few games in the Mortal Realms of 3.0. Plus, it provides you with a brand new way to prepare your favorite Chaos Lord for the next chapter of the Realms.

Dawn’s Fall

The Forces of Order are in turmoil in every Realm as Chaos tightens the noose around them. Book VI paints a grim picture of the final conflicts of the Dawnbringer Crusade. It is certainly not going in Sigmar’s favor. By unleashing his greatest champion, Archaon has sealed the fate of all those who dared intrude on his lands. The mad general Abraxia desperately seeks solace from her insanity while her Varanguard warriors mercilessly attack the Crusades. This is an awesome finale to the overarching Dawnbringer story, and is not to be missed.

Chaos Expands

Hounds of Chaos adds a ton of new units to your Slaves to Darkness roster. Aside from Abraxia herself, you get the rules for all the new Darkoath warriors, plus the Swords of Chaos. This new way to play Chaos represents Abraxia’s elite army. It has a unique set of special rules, strategies, and even special Varanguard-exclusive enhancements. Abraxia herself is a monster, and her cursed spear is a menace to both her enemies and herself.

You can check out the warscrolls for Abraxia and Gunnar Brand, another Chaos hero, here.

A Dark Hero of Your Own

The Aspiring Champions of Chaos are all unique, both with the gifts they receive and the gods they choose to revere. This book gives you the chance to craft your own hero through a unique Path to Glory campaign. Similar to the Anvil of Apotheosis, this set of rules lets you build your ultimate hero from simple tribesman to master of Chaos. This is an exciting new chapter in Path to Glory, and the book is worth buying for this alone.
