‘Labyrinth The Board Game’ 40th Anniversary Collection is Coming This Summer
River Horse and Mantic Games announced a new 40th-anniversary collection edition of the Labyrinth board game coming this summer.
It took until 2016, the 30th anniversary of the release of Jim Henson’s The Labyrinth, to get a board game adaptation. And now, almost a decade later, a temporal hair’s breadth away from the 40th anniversary, comes the announcement of a new version of the game. Well. A new “game collection.” Whatever that actually means.
From the press release, it sounds like this means a new revision of the rules and a chance to print new miniatures. But details are sparse. The main thing we know is that the new “game collection” is coming to Gamefound, a crowdfunding platform, this Summer.
