Threat Assessment: Daemons & Heretics will let you add the most fiendish servants of the Ruinous Powers to your games of Wrath & Glory.

Wrath & Glory continues to be one of the most expansive Warhammer 40K RPGs out there. While Cubicle 7 is spinning up their Imperium Maledictum, the spiritual successor to Dark Heresy, Wrath & Glory keeps trucking along with yet more windows into the grim, dark corners of the 41st Millennium.

Case in point: Threat Assessment: Daemons & Heretics, a new splatbook out for pre-order, coming later this year, for Wrath & Glory. This is the big book of Chaos Baddies. It’s a splatbook dedicated to cultists, daemons, and even (especially) Chaos Space Marines. And not just the generic guys, either.

We’re talking Khorne Berzerkers. We’re talking Noise Marines. Yeah, electric guitar blasters and glam rock heresy and all. I’m excited to see what they look like in the game, but I’m also pumped for the new cult rules the book has to offer. Let’s take a look.

Warhammer 40K: Wrath & Glory: Threat Assessment: Daemons & Heretics

You know, too many colons is surprisingly fitting for a book all about the servants of Chaos. And that’s exactly who you’ll find in Daemons & Heretics, as the name suggests. But it’s not just a manual of the monstrous servants of the Dark Powers (though it is also mostly that).

This book is all about running them. To that end, you’ll find rules for making your own Chaos Cults. That is an absolute must for any 40K GM. There is no foe so omnipresent or iconic for a 40K RPG party than a group of Chaos Cultists who are just frothing with heresy.

But, on top of that, you get rules for the iconic Daemons of each of the Chaos gods, as well as some of the more classic Space Marine varieties. Noise Marines and Berzerkers, for sure, but if I had to guess, I’d say expect some Night Lords or Death Guard, too, maybe.

And, in a move that feels like it’ll enhance the longevity of any villainous threat you cobble together, there’s a whole section on the “Psychic Diabolus,” aka the powers of the Warp.

So whether you want to find some new threats, make your own, or just spice up some existing foes for your ongoing campaigns, you might wanna pre-order Threat Assessment: Daemons & Heretics, due out later this year (with a PDF available at DriveThruRPG immediately).
