Do you think you’ve got an impressive collection of Warhammer 40,000 relics? I bet Trazyn the Infinite of the Necrons has you beat.

Collecting miniatures might be a fun hobby to you but some collectors are more serious that other. And in the Grimdark there’s one collector that’s got the best 40k collection ever. Trazyn the Infinite has one of the most awe-inspiring. It’s both awesome and awful at the same time as he has the ability to collect holographic events — but these aren’t just sculptures. His Prismatic Galleries are full of conscious living beings transmuted into the holographic events themselves!

And that’s just one part of his collection. He also has a multitude of other rare and priceless items in his galleries. Here’s a short list:

The Prismatic Galleries

  • The last high council of Idharae Craftworld
  • An exhibit showcasing the massacres on Tragus
  • A warband of orks attacking an unknown blue-shelled invertebrate xenos species
  • The catacombs of Calth during the Underground War
  • An exhibit labelled “Doomrider‘s Folly
  • An exhibit labelled the “Death of Lord Solar Macharius” which is one-tenth composed of Imperial Guardsmen who are 300 years from the wrong time period

  • An exhibit labelled the “Last Stand of Ursarkar Creed
  • An exhibit labelled the “Last Questions of Historicus Ostalan Varus
  • An exhibit labelled the “Sword Both Stolen and Sought”
  • An exhibit labelled the “Imperial Heroes of the Tyrannic Wars”

  • An exhibit labelled “The Beheading of Goge Vandire
  • An exhibit labelled “War in the Museum”
  • An exhibit labelled “Angelis“, which includes: Gorkamorka (the rocket ship), Mektown, and several Orkz.

Items Of Note

This isn’t all of the item either. There are quite a few mysteries in his collection. He’s even had to unleash a few of them when Cadia was destroyed.

I think that GW might be sitting on a few of these items in case of emergency. Not that GW is running out lore to dig into anytime soon. However, it would be quite the fertile ground for lore and story developments if a few of those items happened to escape. Can you imagine a LOYAL Fulgrum Clone re-emerging? And who do you suppose the giant man in Baroque Power Armor could be? Any else think that the Enslaver could be worth examining? Oh what could be…

Curious about how Trazyn got a hold of these items?
