Free League announced a massive sale for the Alien RPG, through all of August; just in time for the release of Alien: Romulus.

It’s a deal so good it’s practically bursting through the chest of Weyland-Yutani. In honor of Alien: Romulus, Free League announced an upcoming sale on select titles for the ALIEN RPG. The sale kicks off August 1st at 9 AM central time. Whether you find Alien titles on DriveThruRPG, Roll20, or on he Demiplane Alien Nexus, you’ll be able to get them at a hefty discount.

Because this is a 50% off sale. Where you can save on the core rulebook, on some of the campaigns, or even on expansions like the Colonial Marines book.

We love the ALIEN RPG here at BoLS. It was so good it terrified friends and family. A deal like this is the perfect way to jump into the dark, distant future of 2183, three years since the destruction of Hadley’s Hope on LV-426 and the subsequent disappearance of the USS Sulaco.

Free League Announces Massive ALIEN RPG Sale

Space is vast, dark, and not your friend. And there are things lurking in the shadows — things strange and different and deadly. Things alien. The multiple award-winning official ALIEN The Roleplaying Game was released in 2019 by Free League Publishing in partnership with 20th Century Studios. The game immediately sold out its first print run and swiftly entered the Top-5 list of best-selling tabletop roleplaying games in the fall of 2019. It won the ENNIE Award for Best Game 2020 and the People’s Choice Award for Best RPG at the UK Game Expo.

Of particular interest are titles like the Alien core rulebook, which has all the rules you need to play the game, including both Cinematic and Campaign Play. Cinematic Play is more LARP-y. You play characters in pre-determined scenarios that have a very distinct arc, the stakes are high, and your character probably won’t live through to the end.

Campaign Play is more like what you expect. It’s a sandbox that unleashes you on the Alien universe.

Or you might check out expansions like Destroyer of Worlds or Heart of Darkness. These are cinematic scenarios that take you deep into the twisting space horror that defines the Alien franchise. If you want something moody and atmospheric, check these out.

Or, if you’d prefer to blow Xenomorphs away with pulse rifles, grab the Colonial Marines Operations Manual.

The ALIEN RPG Sale begins August 1st!
