The Clans have arrived and are overwhelming the Inner sphere with their advanced technology.

In my last post, I showed off the Proliferation Cycle boxed set. Today, we are taking a look at the BattleTech Clan Fire Star boxed set.

The Mechs

Today’s post is about showing you what you get in the Clan Fire Star Boxed Set for BattleTech. Let’s take a closer look at those Mechs!

Cougar

The Cougar is a versatile 35-ton light mech with good speed and jump capabilities. It excels at hit-and-run tactics, scouting, and flanking maneuvers.

Fire Moth

The Fire Moth is a light mech designed for reconnaissance and harassment. Its speed and agility allow it to dart around the battlefield, disrupting enemy formations. This 20-ton mech is the fastest one I know of in BattleTech.

Kit Fox

The Kit Fox is a 30-ton light mech favored by Clan Smoke Jaguar. It excels at long-range combat.

Nova Cat

The Nova Cat is a 70-ton heavy mech with a mix of energy and missile weapons. It’s versatile and can adapt to various roles on the battlefield.

Warhawk

At 85 Tons, this is the heaviest mech in this boxed set. The Warhawk is a powerful assault mech. Armed with long-range missiles and energy weapons, it can deal devastating damage.

What Else is in the Box?

Like the other boxes of mechs, you get the miniatures and cards for Alpha Strike in here. That means you can use these miniatures for two games: TableTop BattleTech and BattleTech Alpha Strike. If you want the stats sheet for the Tabletop version of BattleTech using hexes and mech sheets, you can download the mech sheets online. The rules for both games are on that site, too.

As with the other BattleTech miniatures released by Catalyst Games, these are nice! Way better than the 25th Anniversary Edition mechs.

Wrapping it up…

If you are looking to start into BattleTech, be sure to check out the Game of Armored Combat Starter boxed set along with the Clan Wars box. After you get those two boxes, you may want to expand your clan forces.

If you want to add some strong firepower to your Clan Mechs, take a look at this Clan Fire Star boxed set. As a note, this article also appears on my personal site. More details about the site are below.
