Marvel: Crisis Protocol – ‘Apocalypse’ Reveals Here Comes The Horsemen
We knew that Atomic Mass Game was bringing Apocalypse to Marvel: Crisis Protocol. The Horsemen are coming to bring the pain.
Ministravaganza 2024 is happening this week and Atomic Mass Games has got a lot to show off. One preview that I’ve been really excited to see has been the Apocalypse reveals. And, OH BOY, did AMG deliver. Let’s just start with the miniature and the terrain kits.
Apocalypse Comes To Marvel Crisis Protocol
The miniature is going to awesome. And now we also get a look at the alternate arm options you can bring. These were teased before now now we have a better look at them.
Also, we have a closer look at the terrain sets, too.
There are three in total and it’s crazy to see how they will all fit together to form a table. I really want to get this stuff because Apocalypse also has an Ultimate Encounter. You’ll need the reanimation chamber set and the big man to run it.
Apocalypse Art
AMG also showed off some amazing art from the development process and I kinda want these on my walls.
This was the initial character concept art and yes…it’s awesome. Here are a few other pieces that were shown off as well.

And finally, for the art, we have a piece that I was probably the MOST stoked about. All the Horsemen of Apocalypse!
I had written up a list of Horsemen I wanted and I’m truly impressed with this art. Well done AMG. And if you thought that we were getting just art, guess again…
Apocalypse Rules Reveals
Apocalypse and his Horsemen really bring the pain. They all synergize with the Big Guy and also feed his attacks. How do I know? Well AMG dropped this bomb on us, too:
YUP! Behold his character card. He’s bringing his own Affiliation. Oh and each of the Horsemen cards are limited to specific characters — so you can’t just hand those out freely. That said, it’s going to be amazing to see on the tabletop.
One more thing AMG dropped was arguably Apocalypse’s most famous Horsemen: Archangel!
I’m also super excited to see this card and to get Archangel in the game as well. Oh and about that Ultimate Encounter for Apocalypse? Well, it’s going to be one heck of a challenge to tackle him!
Notice the whole “1st Evolution” and “4th Evolution” going on there? Yeah…that’s related to the scenario. Let’s just say the Crisis Team is going up against the Horsemen. Depending on how well each side does determines how juiced Apocalypse is when he comes out. I’ll be honest, if he gets his 4th Evolution out, Apocalypse is going to WRECK you.
