Necromunda: Lady Haera Helmawr Returns With A Fancy New Suit
Lady Haera Helmawr returns with a new Spyrer suit and is ready to take on the terrors in the Underhells of Hive Secundus on Necromunda!
If you haven’t been keeping up with the events on the Imperial Planet of Necromunda then you might be surprised at how crazy things are right now. There’s basically a civil war and the Helmawr Dynasty is on their back foot. The current leader of Necromunda is Lady Haera Helmawr. But we last saw her heading into the Underhells of Hive Secundus with her brother Tamino. Why would these two siblings head down there? They were on the hunt for some tech to help them in the fight: a legendary Sthenian-Pattern Hunting Rig. Looks like they found one…
“The two noble siblings were on the hunt for the legendary Sthenian-Pattern Hunting Rig – a rare and potent suit thought lost long ago. Once acquired, and with its neural needles implanted directly into her skull, Lady Haera has ascended to hitherto unrecorded levels of ferocity.
Elements from her previous guise, such as her cybernetic watch-skulls, which help her search out foes in the dark, have been incorporated into the suit. She still hunts with her signature power spear and phase sword, but a vicious new pair of claws augment her combat prowess further.”
Lady Helmawr’s New Suit
Lady Helmawr was already a potent combatant. But now with her new suit she’s even more of a menace. The Sthenian Hunting Rig also has additional weapon systems like the medusian projectors which can immobilise her prey. She’s also got a new ability when her family is around:
Yikes! Lady Haera with any Spyrer around is going to be a straight-up nightmare in combat. Now you might be wondering when and where you’ll be able to get her rules and her model:
“Full rules for Lady Haera in her new suit will appear in the next Necromunda supplement, and she will be released in Forge World resin.”
That’s good to know! I was kind of hoping we’d get a plastic kit for her. But I suppose major/named characters do get their kits made by Forge World when it comes to Necromunda. Still, that new suit is going to look bonkers next to some of the other Syprers. Be on the look out when Lady Haera goes on the hunt!
