In Discord, everyone can hear you scream—so maybe make sure you’re muted if you’re playing the new ALIEN RPG Discord activity.

Free League and Roll20 have teamed up to launch a new Discord activity for the ALIEN RPG, which will let Discord users play in a sort of streamlined ALIEN starter set experience.

This is the first big followup to the news that Roll20 and Discord were teaming up in the first place. You might recall back in April, Roll20 announced that it was teaming up with Discord to bring users the virtual tabletop experience without having to leave their Discords.

And now, Free League and Roll20 have infested your Discord with Xenomorphs. That’s right, they’re in the server with you right now. Check your motion tracker, make sure your pulse rifle is loaded, and don’t forget to save the cat.

Today, Free League Publishing and Roll20 are excited to announce that ALIEN The Roleplaying Game is launching with Roll20’s new Discord Activity. At the click of a button, players can access a streamlined virtual tabletop experience with the ALIEN Starter Set and the ALIEN Starter Set Bundle.

Through the Roll20 Activity, ALIEN The Roleplaying Game is now readily available to Discord’s 80+ million users. With ready-to-play characters, the ability to use Discord for voice, video, and chat, and move to VTT games in seconds, GMs, players, and spectators can explore the deepest reaches of space and encounter Xenomorphs on their own servers. Additionally, fans of ALIEN The Roleplaying Game will be able to purchase items directly from the Discord store page and access the character sheet for free.

So if you’ve ever been curious at all abut the ALIEN RPG, now’s your chance to play it. And better news still, the rulebooks are all about to be on sale. There has never been a better time to branch out into this game of sci-fi horror.

You don’t even have to download anything. You just have to use the Roll20 activity, and from there, you can get right into the Starter Set, which will teach you how to run and play the game.

Good luck out there, and remember, don’t trust anyone whose insides are filled with milk.
