Baldur’s Gate 3 Patch 7 is going to be absolutely amazing and even more evil than we thought, as Larian showed in a new teaser for Lae’zel.

What is evil, exactly? That seems to be a question that Larian Studios is exploring in the new endings being added to Baldur’s Gate 3 in Patch 7. Earlier this week, we got a look at everyone’s favorite Githyanki Warrior, Lae’zel, betraying everything her people stand for as she embraces the powers of her people’s ancient enemy.

In many ways, this is more evil than the blood eclipse, and a sign that there are going to be more endings than we thought. Case in point, Larian Studios has announced that each Origin Character will have their own evil ending cinematic in the new patch.

Combine this with new dialogue and options for characters like Minthara in the works, and it’s looking like Patch 7 may be the one to wait for if you’re thinking of starting a new playthrough.

Baldurs Gate 3 Reveals New Mind-Flayer Powered Ending for Lae’zel

In a post on Twitter from the Baldur’s Gate 3 account, Larian Studios teased a new evil ending for the gruff Githyanki who will absolutely melt your heart if you let her. But. If you play as Lae’zel (which you will want to, because you’ll get to meet one of the greatest Githyanki, Losiir), you can unlock new endings for her. Including one where she embraces her illithid-granted powers and psychically dominates a Red Dragon to take the fight back to Vlaakith herself, backed up by a fleet of nautiloids.

“If you played as an Origin Character and made some wicked decisions, you’ll also find that Patch 7 will offer you new, evil-ending cinematics!

Tsk’va. But who is the real enemy? Spoilers ahead!

Again, every Origin Character has a new evil ending awaiting them in Patch 7. Even Wyll! If you can imagine him being evil for even a second. But everything’s possible in Baldur’s Gate 3, right?

Though I’ll believe Evil Wyll when I see it.
