As we get closer to the launch of Baldur’s Gate 3, developers have given a deeper look at some of the new evil endings. And they are dark indeed.

Larian Studios has slowly been rolling out teasers of the big new evil endings coming to Baldur’s Gate 3. With Patch 7, Baldur’s Gate 3 will see its last major update, but what a doozy that will be. With everything from official mod support to a whole dark reign of terror just waiting in the wings for those evil enough to try for them.

BG3‘s New Teasers Reveal Dire Fates for Those Who Stand in Your Way

Baldur’s Gate 3 Patch 7 has been on the horizon for a while now. This is the last big patch for the game, as Larian starts to shift and reorient itself for its next big challenge. While support for Baldur’s Gate 3 isn’t finished, this one is the final bow.

And what a grace note they’re leaving on. Promising new endings for evil characters, including one that features what I can only describe as a “blood eclipse” that looks like something straight out of Dark Souls, it seems as though Larian is once again asking you to try the dark side.

You’d be forgiven for thinking this is Dark Souls.

And over the last few days, two new teasers have emerged on reddit. Yesterday, we saw one teasing a new ending for the Dark Urge that ends with the line “time for the final act, your tragedy has become mankind’s.”

Spoiler Alert

And all of that right after making your friends leap to their deaths from the height of the Netherbrain. Things aren’t looking too good for the Forgotten Realms.

Although, if you want an ending that seems happier, you know, a real feel good kind of thing, there’s always the Psionic Domination ending teaser…

Just ignore the mindlessly happy creepy music and everything’s fine. It’s all fine. No brains about to be harvested or anything.

Look for Baldur’s Gate 3, Patch 7 in September!
