Get Back to School With These D&D Accessories
It is once again almost time to hit the books. But this year doesn’t have to be boring if we add a few more spells to those books.
Whether you’re getting back to the classroom, or just enjoy all of the organizational goodies and cheap dorm furniture that are extra easy to find this time of year, the back to school season is upon us. But that’s no reason not to take your hobbies with you or send your kids out without showing off their favorite game.
1. Bookbag of Holding
In the game, your bag of holding is one of the most important items you could be carrying around. It lets you hold much more physical stuff than your character should be able to carry with an almost endless space hidden within. Just make sure not to put one bag or holding inside of another… Or do, I’m not your mother. This backpack is probably just a regular, not endless bag for holding spell books and swords. But that’s still pretty good.
2. Beholder Notebook
If you prefer to or have to take notes by hand, you’ll need plenty of paper to do it on. This notebook has 200 lined pages for your note-taking needs. But more importantly, the cover features the Beholder stalking you through a dungeon. Good luck!
3. Pencil (or Dice) Bag
From pens to erasers to flash drives, there are always a few small things you’ll need to bring to class. And they’ll need a safe place to live. This zippered pencil bag is the perfect nerdy home for your pens, pencils, erasers, and spare dice for lunch-hour mini-games. And it will help remind you that sometimes the dice are on your side and sometimes they… aren’t.
4. Dragon Pen
For me ,this would probably be more of a home-pen than a class-pen. But that’s okay, not everything has to be shown off. The pen and holder separately feature a dragon motif. It’s very sturdy and made of stone and resin. This pen is cool to look at and lets you take all of your notes. It’s like having a little tiny piece of art in your hand at all times.
5. D20 Stress Ball
This is a giant 4.8 inch large foam dice. The amazon listing has all sorts of educational purposes for a big foam D20, but I look at this thing and think “oh, it’s a stress ball.” I’m not saying that school is stressful. But sometimes I still have that nightmare where I haven’t been to class all semester and the final is today. And I haven’t been a student in more than ten years. There’s nothing wrong with wanting something low-key to fidget with helps keep your mind from spiraling or wandering. Keep this squishy D20 stress ball on your desk or in your bag for those times when you just need a little something to keep the brain goblins occupied.
Oh hey! BoLS might make a little dolla-dolla if you decide to buy these items. We need that money to pay tuition at arcana school.
