Grand Admiral Thrawn is here in Star Wars: Shatterpoint and we’re taking a look inside his new Squad Pack!

Atomic Mass Games has brought Thrawn and his crew to Star Wars: Shatterpoint with the new Not Accepting Surrenders Squad Pack. They were kind enough to send us a review copy so I’m here to get into the contents and show off exactly what you’re getting.

Not Accepting Surrenders Squad Pack

This isn’t my first time taking a look inside a Star Wars: Shatterpoint Squad pack so I knew what to expect. But if you didn’t know here’s the contents all laid out:

You get everything inside this plastic baggies. They include all the squad cards you need to use them in the game as well as all the miniatures. It’s also worth noting that for this squad pack it supports five different languages — that’s why there are so many cards in the pack! I really need to find a school that’s doing some sort of language program and send these cards to them…Or use them to learn the other languages myself!

As far as the miniatures go, they arrive on this single sprue and come with four of the standard bases we’ve seen for Shatterpoint so far. I did get to assemble these miniatures and plan on doing a showcase for them later. I won’t go into them too much now (as this is a focus on the unboxing). But I will say the sculpts came out crisp and the plastic is easy to work with. There’s also some alternate heads you can use for Kallus and the ISB Agents if you want to do that. Kallus also has an alternate pose as well.

Card-wise you can see the ones that are included. If you want a full breakdown of what they can do in the game check out our write-up here. There’s much better images of the cards included with that article.

In terms of Squad Packs for Star Wars: Shatterpoint this one is pretty standard. That’s not a bad thing! The quality of the components and miniatures is great. If you’re a Shatterpoint fan I think this set is totally worth adding to your collection. Thrawn is an interesting character overall and I think his squad really helps to highlight his strengths.

Again, we’ll be revisiting this squad’s miniatures in the future. I just got a lot of AMG kits dropped on me at once and I’m assembling things as fast as I can. I’m excited to show them all off and I want to do them justice.

In the meantime, the Not Accepting Surrenders Squad Pack is available and in stores. So if you want to add Thrawn and co. to your games you can do that right now!

Star Wars: Shatterpoint – Not Accepting Surrenders Squad Pack $49.99

More terrifying than any Star Destroyer are the cunning skills of the Empire’s greatest strategic minds! Among many prestigious figures leading the Imperial Navy, one holds a special place: Grand Admiral Thrawn. Any superficial differences between Thrawn, a male Chiss, and his human peers is overshadowed by his extreme cunning combined with his dogged focus on defeating Rebel forces threatening the Empire.

Aiding Thrawn are the skilled and capable agents of the Imperial Security Bureau. This secret task force operates in the shadows investigating suspected Rebel activity across the galaxy before moving to quash them. Among their numbers is Alexsandr Kallus, who applies his abilities as a strategist and warrior to hunting rebels across the galaxy…

Underestimate Thrawn at your own peril.
