Warhammer 40K: ‘Chalnath Dispatches’ Preview Announced – More Teasers Arrive
Games Workshop is gearing up for some big Warhammer 40,000 news with more teasers. Mark your calendars for this weekend.
We just had all the Skaven reveals for Age of Sigmar and Games Workshop isn’t slowing down. This weekend promises even more goodies coming. And this time they are from the grimdark side of the house.
“To find out more, join us this weekend. On Saturday the 17th of August, there’s a Warhammer Preview concerning the mysterious “Operation Hivestorm”.”
More Teasers For Chalnath
In case you missed it there were a couple more teasers from GW as well. One was dropped during the end of the Skaven reveals:
We’ve got some Space Marine “Dropping in” with Jump Packs and some mysterious cylindrical craft coming in from space. The message here was “Look To The Skies.”
And earlier today we got yet another teaser:
Hmm…I wonder what those could have been…
Aside from the factory setting, we’ve got some very fast flighting xenos. It’s got four wings. Anyone want to take a stab at this one? The internet is a buzz with this being Vespid.
If that’s the case (and it very well could be) that means we should be seeing some new miniatures for this unit. And it checks out that the T’au would be involved. The Chalnath Expanse Campaign was a battle between The Imperium, Genestealer Cult, T’au, and even the Orks. So having the T’au show up in these teasers makes sense.
So far these teasers have been making lots of sky-related jokes. Even Lewis in the video saying “Drop in” is probably a *wink-wink* for us watching. I’m thinking we’re about to get some sort of aerial related something — it could be Kill Team, a flyer update, or more likely some themed Chalnath Campaign news. In any case, we’re going to have to tune in this Saturday to get to the bottom of this mystery.
New drop pods?! Oh man…I don’t know how to feel about that train of thought.
