‘Baldur’s Gate 3’ Patch 7 Comes out ‘This Week’ on PC, Console Release Delayed
Baldur’s Gate 3 gets its long-awaited Patch 7, which brings new evil endings, character interactions, and more to the game, this week.
The wait has been long for Baldur’s Gate 3, Patch 7. Announced back before Summer, will finally be coming out this week. On PC. Console players will have to wait a little while longer. But, Larian Studios said it hopes to have console players up to speed pretty soon.
Baldur’s Gate 3, Patch 7 hits This Week
Announced at PAX West, Larian Studios let it be known that Patch 7 is coming to PC this week. But with the scope of changes, they wanted folks to know that console players and those on Macs will be getting their updates a little bit later. But, Larian is moving full steam ahead.
“In case you missed it, Patch 7 is coming to PC next week!
With so many changes and new features arriving in this patch, it’ll take a little longer to get these to you on console and Mac 0 but don’t worry, you’ll be murdering your enemies and installing mods in no time.”

But the new patch will be worth the wait. It would be worth the wait just for the prospect of new endings. But there’s so much more coming in this patch. We’ve got Split Screen co-op improvements, so that your party members merge together when they’re all on the same page, so to speak. There’s mod support.
Of course, there are a ton of new companion tweaks and updates, so you can have more time with your favorite party members. And the ones you ignore will have slightly more to do if you ever stop ignoring them, but you’ll never know, not really.
There are any number of reasons to start a new playthrough when the last big patch hits. So keep your eyes tuned to Steam and see you back on the Nautiloid!
Maybe this time, play something other than a Paladin? Maybe. I dunno. What if it was just a different Paladin?
