D&D Accessories: Autumn Dice for Autumn Druids
Whether there’s an autumn themed druid oat your table, or you’re just excited for this fall season, there’s a dice set for you.
It’s that time of year! Pumpkin spice is back in stores, temperature are starting to think about considering going down, and leaves may actually change color soon. It’s autumn. Well, officially it will be later this month, but as far as I’m concerned, it’s now. There’s a lot to love about this season, but if you’re especially enamored by the general fall aesthetic, these dice will have to join your collection ASAP.
1. Golden Leaf Dice
These dice are so pretty in their simplicity. The mixture of the resin and the little tiny gold and orange leaves combine for a look that feels like standing in a shower of falling leaves. This set also has such a strong Druid aesthetic, and just feels like a peaceful walk in the forest on a crisp day. The gold lettering doesn’t have the highest contrast of dice numbers I’ve seen, but I also sort of love that. It matches, but it’s not hard to read- it just feels consistent and dreamy.
2. Golden Leaf Colored Dice
If you like the color scheme of the previous dice, but not the execution, I understand. Filled resin dice aren’t everybody’s thing. So how about some metal dice instead? This set has the same general feeling with the gold and red leaf tones. But as for theming, it’s a lot more subtle. Plus, sometimes how heavy metal dice are just feels nice to hold and roll.
3. Leafy Mountain Dice
Up in my neck of the woods, leaf peeping is a serious thing for tourists. If you’re not familiar, people like to take road trips to places where the changing leaves look pretty and just sort of nature watch. And in fairness, it is really pretty. These dice capture part of that feeling of changing trees up quiet mountains with a mix of stone tones, oranges, and greens along with the gold lettering.
4. Spooky Pumpkin Dice
When looking for pumpkin dice you can go in one of two directions; classic pumpkin or pumpkin spice, or Halloweeny jack-o’-lanterns. I know the spooky picks are more of a next-month thing, and we will definitely be back next month with more spooky picks. But Autumn gets me excited to go pick out new Halloween décor and start planning out my October to-watch list. And if you’re in the same, boat, these pumpkin dice may be right up your alley. Of course, you’ll also need…
5. And Equally Spooky Dice Tray
By now you probably know that l love a good dice tray. Losing dice over the side of your table where a cat or toddler will steal it is too easy. And even if you don’t have a cat or a toddler, dice are still really annoying to have to chase around a room once they go rogue. Dice trays keep them neat, in place, and un-lost. And this one has a fun pumpkin design on it!
Oh hey! BoLS might make a little dolla-dolla if you decide to buy these items. We need that money to buy an entire season’s worth of pumpkin spice lattes and candy!
