WizKids has us all dead to rights, and make no mistake. Their newest “Replicas of the Realm” are heartachingly cute.

It doesn’t matter what your D&D game is like. You might be the most serious, political-intrigue and gritty fantasy-filled campaign, the sort of thing you started because you were excited for Winds of Winter and have been playing in the ensuing years, still waiting for it. Your game could be dark, grim, mournful, comedic, lighthearted, whimsical—you might even just be retired adventurers who run an inn while your DM tries desperately to get you to go investigate those rumors of bandits you’ve been hearing about since level 1.

Whatever the case, WizKids has you pegged. They know exactly what you want and are willing to give it to you. Which is why they’ve unveiled two more adorable baby versions of creatures from the Monster Manual.

WizKids Captures Hearts, Reveals New Replicas of the Realm Pre-Orders

I mean just look at that little baby red dragon up there. That’s one of two new “life-size replicas” which is an ironic description since, at least, as far as I can tell no one has any displacer beasts or red dragons to make life-sized models from. But the fact is, these things are big. The Red Dragon Egg is 9.2 inchs tall and can be displayed standing up or reclined—in fact you can even rotate it so that you see either just egg or egg and dragon peeking through.

Both the Baby Red Dragon above, and the Displacer Beast below are made out of soft foam, hand painted in loving detail. If you want a centerpiece for your gaming room, this is a pretty good one to run with. Or if you don’t like baby dragons, how about soft monster kittens?

This Displacer Beast Kitten replica is almost 11″ long and comes with incredibly detailed fur and tentacles. And unlike an actual displacer beast, this replica will appear exactly where it is in the real world, not slightly out of place. Both of these replicas are up for pre-order now, with release windows of Q3 2025.
