Games Workshop Pre-Orders: Chaos Warriors For The Old World
Games Workshop is in the second week of Hivestorm Pre-orders but there’s some new Warriors of Chaos for the Old World, too.
Kill Team: Hivestorm is still up for pre-order this weekend. You can check out all those kits here. This weekend is a bit of a hodgepodge of goodies from GW. There’s a lot of online only options (which we skip over). And there’s still more yet that you’ll hopefully be able to pick-up locally, too. Let’s get into those kits.

Chaos Knights are towering brutes clad in heavy plate armour that ride to war armed with great lances, blades, and maces. Even their frightful reputation is a weapon in its own right, crippling those who would stand against them before a single blow is struck.
This multipart plastic kit builds 10 mounted Chaos Knights, powerful shock cavalry for Warriors of Chaos forces in games of Warhammer: The Old World. Each mounted Knight may be armed with either a hand weapon or a lance. Two of them can be built as a Champion, two more as standard bearers – each with a choice of two banner icons, and another two as musicians. That means you can build them as either two units of five, each with their own optional command, or as one large unit of 10. You’ll also find options for heads, and there are plenty of optional accessories to personalise your unit.
This kit comprises 178 plastic components, and is supplied with 10x Citadel 30x60mm Rectangular Bases. This set also includes 1x Warriors of Chaos Transfer Sheet containing 621 high-quality, waterslide transfers for you to further decorate your models.
These miniatures are supplied unpainted and require assembly – we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel Colour paints.
Chaos Dwarf Blood Bowl Team: The Zharr-Naggrund Ziggurats
The Chaos Dwarfs approach Blood Bowl in the same way they tackle a new project in the workshop – plan meticulously for far too long, practise until they have achieved one successful test, before throwing a good chunk of that out of the window in favour of hammering away with as much ferocity as they can muster. This approach has served them incredibly well when it comes to action on the gridiron, where their physical dominance is hard to overlook.
This multipart plastic kit builds the Zharr-Naggrund Ziggurats, a Chaos Dwarf team for use in games of Blood Bowl. The team is comprised of six Hobgoblin Linemen, four Chaos Dwarf Blockers, two Hobgoblin Sneaky Stabbas, and two Chaos Dwarf Flamesmiths. You’ll find two head options for every body, plus more options to customise your team. In addition, there are two double-sided Blood Bowl coins, two turn and re-roll markers, four themed balls, and a transfer sheet.
Rules for using Chaos Dwarf teams in your games of Blood Bowl can be found in Spike! Journal: Issue 18, which is available separately.
This kit comprises 122 plastic components, and is supplied with 14x Citadel 32mm Round Bases and 1x Blood Bowl Chaos Dwarf Team Transfer Sheet. These miniatures are supplied unpainted and require assembly – we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel Colour paints.
Chaos Dwarf Team – Double-sided Pitch and Dugouts Set
Chaos Dwarfs are well-known for their love of arid heat, being underground, and Blood Bowl. All of that makes volcanoes excellent locations for the Chaos Dwarfs to build their stadiums within – carving the stands from the stone walls, redirecting bubbling lava flows towards the outskirts of the field, and constructing large iron monuments to honour both Hashut and Nuffle. The downside of choosing a volcano as a stadium is ensuring that there is a strict evacuation procedure in place to protect the fans, should the molten pinnacle decide to erupt mid-match!
One side of this pitch depicts a stone gridiron built inside of an active volcano. The reverse shows lava beginning to flow across the pitch ahead of the volcano’s imminent eruption. Opposing players will be quaking in their boots.
You’ll also find a pair of matching double-sided dugouts to complete the theme. Each dugout features score, turn, and re-roll trackers, plus Reserves, Knocked-out, and Casualty boxes. Rules for using each side of the pitch in your games of Blood Bowl are included.
Chaos Dwarf Blood Bowl Team – Dice Set
Chaos Dwarfs pride themselves on forging tools of destruction with metal and stone in honour of Hashut. These themed dice bring that flair for the dramatic to your games of Blood Bowl.
Honour Hashut with every roll of these Chaos Dwarf Team themed dice, cast in a filthy-looking bronze, with red markings. Each six-sided standard dice in this set features the stylized face icon of Chaos Dwarf Teams in place of the ‘6’ pips, to remind your rivals who’s about to grind them into the gridiron.
This set contains the dice you need to play. It includes:
– 3x Blood Bowl Block dice
– 2x 6-sided dice with the Chaos Dwarf Team logo in place of the ‘6’ face
– 1x 8-sided Blood Bowl Scatter dice
– 1x 16-sided dice

The Twistweald come creeping from the Gnarlwood, their arboreal Sylvaneth beauty splintered by terminally parasitic plants. These incurable pariahs plunge into tainted forests that their brethren would never dare tread, isolating themselves while using their fury to fuel violence upon any who trespass.

These corrupted Sylvaneth wield their anger, and their parasitic appendages, to destroy the enemies of the Everqueen.
