Goatboy’s Grimdark Armylist – Ben Cherwien’s Emperor’s Children Renegades

Goatboy here with a debauched and hard as nails Emperor’s Children Armylist that kicked butt in the tourney circuit.

I saw this armylist amongst the winners this past week.  My buddy Ben Cherwien won the North Star Open in Duluth MN with this massed CSM armylist of pain junkies utilizing the new Index Emperor’s Children.  It is a massed list of CSM pain and can cover the table, shoot the crap out of you, and just be hard to chew through.  It has all the pieces needed to be annoying and we’ll see how long it stays as it sounds like the Emperor’s Children isn’t getting updated for awhile.

Here is the EC list for you to look at.  It has all the pieces needed to board control, counter punch, and just be rough to chew through.  I am really happy Accursed can’t regenerate like they used to, as this list would be such a chore to dig out of their deployment half.

Emperor’s Children Renegade Tactics

The Emperor’s Children Renegades list has a scouting unit of Accursed, a bunch of Rhinos, and tons of decent shooting to worry about.  These guys are going to come in hot and just make it hard to score those middle objectives. Then the rest of the army snakes around and gets ready to wreck you.  I am seeing a lot more Predator’s lately, and it is causing me to think I need to find mine and paint them Red to match all my Chaos armies.

Good job Ben – you always seem to be doing mean things with Emperor’s Children!  Hopefully you can wreck some people in Atlanta as I am sure this event was a Golden Ticket event.  Let the wave of Slaaneshi purple commence!
