Marvel Comics is packed full of superhero team-ups. But here’s a few teams of two that could really change the game.

Today we’re going to dive into a handful of super teams that fall on the backs of two characters. These Dynamic Duos are great because not only would they fit in a single box, but they would add some easy team-ups for your roster. Not all of these team-ups need to have linked powers, either. Maybe a team tactic card could be used for a sweet combo attack though. Anyhow, let’s get into our list!

Note: Some of these characters are already in the game but are missing their icon partner…for now.

She-Hulk and Hellcat

She-Hulk #13 cover, Marvel Comics

I’m not going to get into all the details here but these two are basically besties. They work together and are kind of natural partners when it comes to their non-superhero lives. With Jen being a lawyer, and Pasty being (basically) a private investigator. Anyhow, She-Hulk’s already around and I’m all for another street-level hero being added to MCP!

Cloak and Dagger

I don’t know if really need to explain this one… it’s freaking Cloak and Dagger! While their origins are twisted, they’ve been a long standing team in the background of Marvel. They have some great synergies together and I do think this is one of those team-ups that absolutely needs to have a combo power/ability between two of them.

Titania and Volcana

Okay, this one is a bit of a deeper cut. During the events Secret Wars, Doctor Doom gave powers to Titania and Volcana. And then…Doom basically forgot about them. Anyhow, these two have been roaming around causing problems ever sense. Mostly for She-Hulk. Which is what made me think of adding them to this list.

Mystique And Destiny

These two aren’t just a pair of powerful mutants, there literally a power-couple. And look I’m not going to get into their love story (although it’s a good read). I’m putting them on this list because of the EPIC takedown they did to Moira MacTaggert. That is a long and twisted story line that involves a bunch of intersecting storylines and an understanding of how their mutant powers work. It’s a long walk, but the payoff was *chef’s kiss* good. Besides, Mystique is already in the game. Bring on Destiny!

Daughters of the Dragon

I’ve mentioned this team before but Colleen Wing and Misty Knight are two characters in Marvel that always seem to have a good time. Again, they are both street-level heroes (which I think we need more of) but this would be a great pair to add. Plus, they round out the other Heroes For Hire-type characters!

There’s lots of other great team-ups in Marvel (like Spider-man and The Human Torch for example). Who’d you like to see?
