If you grew up playing video games in the 90’s, you’ll love Video Game Champion. It’s like the Power Glove. It’s so bad.

Video Game Champion is the latest upcoming game to come from Arcane Wonders, makers of the Call of Duty board game, Sheriff of Nottingham, and more. Their latest game will whisk you out of this dreary modern day life of polygonal graphics, ray tracing, and battle passes, and back to a day when gaming was simple.

Video Game Champion Overview

Video Game Champion puts the players back into the 90s kids they may have once been. Players will spend their time playing and beating video games to earn points to determine who is the video game champion.

But, video games aren’t cheap, and you’re a kid again, remember? In order to buy and play the latest games without getting in trouble, players will need to do chores to collect allowance, study for their tests, and go to the game rental store in order to get the latest games.

Video Game Champion is ultimately a set collecting and resource management game. Players will need to manage their money and free time in order to beat video games. Beating games requires collecting matching sets of button tiles.

On their turns, players will collect a button tile from the supply. These tiles will be used to beat the games, by matching the noted combination on the bottom of the game. Could be sequential, pairs, color matching, or a combination.

But collecting the button tiles also determines which actions players will be able to do in their turns. So, it’s a delicate balance of taking the tiles you need, while also managing the actions you want to take, while also managing your money and available space for more tiles.

Players will also be able to complete achievements for bonus points. Use gaming magazines and password notebooks to make beat games easier, or beg their parents for early presents when a dire need for the latest game strikes.

After 5 rounds, the game ends and points are tallied from a variety of sources. Whichever player has the most points is crowned the video game champion!
