The most upsetting thing about Clue: What We Do In The Shadows is you can’t just pin it on Simon the Devious every time.

Someone has stolen Lazlo’s 100% Witch Skin Hat and hidden it somewhere in the house. Find out who took it, where they hid it, and what they used to hide it. This version of Clue is based off the FX comedy series What We Do In The Shadows, a personal favorite of mine.

Clue: What We Do In The Shadows Overview

Play as your favorite characters from the series, or Colin Robinson! Like the classic edition of the game, players will move from room to room, investigating clues and narrowing down their list of suspects. However, included in this edition are additional Intrigue cards which can provide additional benefits for those who play them.

“We’re incredibly excited to bring this new edition to life,” said Dane Chapin, CEO of The Op Games, makers of Clue: What We Do In The Shadows. “Combining the strategic fun of Clue with the unique humor and charm of ‘What We Do in the Shadows’ creates an experience that both long-time fans and new players will love.”

Even if you’re not a fan of the show (though you aught to be), anyone can enjoy this fun and quirky departure from the classic mansion murder mystery. But, with tons of hidden references and subtle nods to the show, it’s a game that fans will love to check out.

Fans of the show might be wondering what sort of content the game takes from the source material. It is an very non-child friendly, after all. Well, without having seen all of the cards and components, it is worth noting that this version of Clue is suitable for ages 16 and up. So that’s kinda fun.

BoLS might make a few bucks on anything you buy from these links. But, be honest, you don’t enjoy randomly browsing online stores. So let us do the annoying part for you. Help us help you.
