You can throw the Crown of Command in the trash, where it belongs. You and your friends have new goals in Talisman Alliances: Fate Beckons.

For years now, Talisman players have been chomping at the bit to get their grubby mitts on the Crown of Command. But now, for the first time ever, in Talisman Alliances: Fate Beckons you don’t have to give a horse’s patoot about that dumb ol’ crown. You’ve got new and mysterious objectives to complete!

Talisman Alliances: Fate Beckons Overview

I’m a big fan of cooperative games in general. Given the option, I would much rather work together and overcome adversity through the power of teamwork and friendship than tear my friends down just to better my own position. But I’m just really very altruistic like that. Also humble.

In Talisman Alliances: Fate Beckons, players will work together to complete 5 unique trials. Each trial will offer up unique challenges requiring a combination of strategy and luck. Rather than race to the super lame Crown of Dumbmand, players are working together to place 2 talismans on places of power, in order to unseal the portal of power and defeat that trial’s main adversary.

This is a wholly new experience in the world of Talisman. Plus, with each new trial comes fun goodies! Unlocking a new trial means unsealing envelopes and boxes with new figures, new cards, and the objective for the next trial. That’s right, folks! It’s a scenario-based campaign! You know we love that.

All in all, Talisman Alliances: Fate Beckons adds 50 new cards of weal and woe, magic and mayhem, and blight and bliss. Once everything is unlocked, you can combine trials and adversaries in endless combinations providing hours and hours of replayability.
