WizKids Reveals Exclusive New ‘Baldur’s Gate 3 Minis’ – Coming to an FLGS Near You
Wizkids has two stunning new store-exclusive Baldur’s Gate 3 minis featuring two of the game’s more controversial NPCs. Spoilers ahead!
WizKids revealed two new Baldur’s Gate 3 minis. But you can’t buy them. Not normally, anyway.
Mizora and The Emperor are two store exclusive miniatures. These are “retailer incentives” meaning only retailers can buy them – usually as part of ordering the associated Booster Bricks or Case. But fans can get them as part of special in-store incentives. So be on the lookout for these two.
WizKids Store-Exclusive Baldur Gate 3 Minis
You’ll find two familiar (feature two technically romanceable) NPCs here. Likely, they were antagonists. But it’s possible they were your allies. Or even romance options. First up is the Mind Flayer, known as the Emperor.
The Emperor is a character you’ll encounter on your journey through Baldur’s Gate 3. He is an Illithid who has, somehow, broken free of the Netherbrain’s control and has his own individuality. His own power. Power and protection that he offers a party – but at a dubious price.
Consume too many tadpoles, and your character will become a Mind Flayer, like him. Losing humanity and gaining face tentacles and a hunger for brains.
Also, if you romance him, just know that some Oreo cookies were involved in your love.
The other of the two game store-exclusive Baldur’s Gate 3 minis is Mizora. Mizora is a powerful devil. She is part of Zariel’s inner circle and has a personal connection to two of the party members. First up, she knows and feuds with Karlach, everyone’s favorite hellbound Barbarian.
And more importantly, she’s Wyll’s Patron. She’s the reason Wyll can conjure Eldritch Blasts and gouts of Hellfire. She will also go out of her way to screw the player over, both metaphorically and literally, depending on what options you choose. Your companions will have feelings about that, though.
