Come for the massive Elden Ring D&D Conversion, stay for the fact that you can play as a Jar Warrior. The Lands Between await!

One Elden Ring and D&D superfan has put in a truly astounding amount of work on a labor of love. An unofficial Elden Ring “total conversion mod” adapts the Lands Between to D&D. At least that’s the aim of it.

And over the course of four separate books, you’ll get to see exactly how they fare. From the player’s guide with custom options like the Living Jar and Omen species, to the massive adventure that recreates the first big Legacy Dungeon, Stormveil Castle in D&D, there’s so much stuff to play with here. As long as you’re playing with 5th Edition. The 5.5E version will require more work on your part.

Arise, ye Tarnished, and let’s check it out.

The Unofficial Elden Ring D&D Adaptation – Four Books That Will Conjoin All Things

This entire project is the work of one Ryan Malley. If that name sounds at all familiar with you, hello fellow D&Degenerate, because Malley is also known for an unofficial Dark Souls conversion released some years back, well before the official 5E Adaptation came out. The Elden Ring D&D project is in four big parts, starting with the Player’s Handbook.

The Player’s Handbook is the smallest entry in the Elden Ring D&D conversion. Weighing in at 46 pages, this book has six new playable species: Living Jars, Ancestors, Numen, Albinaurics, Demi-Humans, and Omens.

It also has new subclasses for every class except the Monk (guess they’ll have to wait for a Shaodws of the Erdtree DLC). And of course, a new spate of spells – including spells for Martial characters to cast.

Then there’s Call to Grace, a massive level 1-5 adventure that translates all of Stormveil Castle into a D&D delve. Which just goes to show how well-designed that dungeon is. It fits whatever situation you need.

A Monster Manual full of Elden Ring creatures is sure to add terror to any tabletop. You’ll find Rune Bears and Grafted Scions and a whole host of controller-smashingly-familiar faces within its pages.

And it all rounds out with the massive GM’s guide. This book has everything you need to bring the Lands Between’s strife-filled setting to your next campaign. So if you aren’t making the switch to the new edition, but still want to try something new, why not venture into the world of Elden Ring in your D&D game?
