D&D: Ultra Pro Unveils Venger in His Final Form – A Figurine of Adorable Power
Venger becomes the latest D&D character to get the Figurine of Adorable Power treatment as Ultra Pro reveals a new vinyl guy.
Ultra Pro revealed a new Venger ‘Figurine of Adorable Power’ today, making the cartoon villain the latest to get the cute vinyl guy treatment. If you’re unfamiliar, Figurines of Adorable Power are Ultra Pro’s line of cute D&D statues. You’ll find everything from an owlbear to Lolth.
You may find your definition of adorable stretched some. The owlbear is great. Lolth, on the other hand, just looks kinda squished. The chonky Mind Flayer, though, is pretty amazing. Possibly my favorite. Feast your eyes.
And soon, Venger will be joining him.
Venger to Become a Figurine of Adorable Power
I guess the biggest thing here is that 5.5E is going to be the D&D Cartoon Edition. Because not only is this the edition that canonizes the D&D Cartoon Characters as being Heroes of the Realm, and features them in the Starter Set and the pre-generated adventures, it’s also the edition that makes their magic items into real magic items as well.
So of course Venger and the others are back. I can only imagine how long it will be before there’s a D&D Cartoon video game, given WotC’s penchant for both. At any rate, here’s a look at the new Venger Figurine of Adorable Power, courtesy of ICv2.
Venger, of course, is the son of Dungeon Master. He’s an evil guy who does evil things, and his main goal is trying to take over dominon of the Realms. Which realms? Good question. Moving on, Venger, seen below, will be made out of Vinyl, so he’ll taste pretty good if you try to replicate the Amiibo corner and see if you can fit him in your mouth. Just watch out for the singular horn. It might get caught on a cheek.
Venger is, of course, holding a little baby Nightmare, which in the cartoon he rides around on. It’s very cute. This Venger actually does look adorable. And he can be yours next year—likely Q3!
