Recruit Sardaukar Commanders and unlock brand new tech tiles for your Dune: Imperium games, with Dune: Imperium – Bloodlines.

A little over a year ago, Direwolf released Dune: Imperium – Uprising, as a standalone expansion to their Dune: Imperium line. And now, they’ve just put the latest expansion up for pre-order. Dune: Imperium – Bloodlines adds a ton of new content!

Dune Imperium – Bloodlines Overview

Bloodlines can be used with both the base Dune: Imperium game and Dune: Imperium – Uprising. It adds many new tools and tactics in order to garner your way to victory.

The brand new tech tiles offer up new options and unlock new viable strategies for military conquest. Combine that with the new leaders, contracts, and cards and you’ve got more ways to play than ever before. War sweeps across the universe, and only the strongest Bloodlines will survive.

One of the new leaders is Kota Odax of Ix.

SECRET PROJECT
Game start: Peek at the bottom Tech tile of each stack. Place one face down here.
Whenever you could acquire a Tech tile, you may choose this one. It costs 1 spice less.

REVERSE ENGINEERING
Gain 1 spice OR Trash one of your Tech tiles to gain 1 Intrigue card and draw 1 card.

I really like the Secret Project ability. It gives you a nice leg up on knowing how your overall strategy will play out. Either with a nice early tech boost, or a late game finisher. But, it does mean you need to have a decent idea of how to play around each tech tile, since you don’t get a huge selection to choose from to start.

Included in the expansion is:

  • 86 Cards (including Navigation cards)
  • 9 Leaders
  • 7 Sardaukar Commander miniatures
  • 14 Sardaukar Commander Skills
  • Ixian Embassy Board
  • 18 Tech tiles
  • 8 Contracts
  • …and more!

If you pre-order now, directly through the Direwolf Digital site, you’ll also receive a special promo card: Ruthless Leadership.
