With Mephisto coming to the tabletop and Agatha All Along wrapping-up, here’s a few magic spell slingers we want in Marvel: Crisis Protocol!

Mephisto is coming to makes some deals for souls and power this month from Atomic Mass Games. We already got a look at the Lord of Hell up close and he’s quite a potent adversary. But he’s not the only mystical threat running around the Marvel Universe. Here’s a few character’s that I want to see join the tabletop!

Agatha Harkness

Okay, I know that’s from the Agatha All Along show from Disney, but I kind of hope this iteration of her makes an appearance in MCP. And let’s not talk about any spoilers here, please!

There’s other versions of her that range from an older “nanny” version to a more youthful appearance. But either way, I think it would be fun to see Agatha Harkness show up on the tabletop. If nothing else it would help fill out the roster of magic users and mystically inclined characters and I’m okay with that.

Blackheart

Blackheart already made an appearance via the Mystic Ward card in MCP. However, now that his father is here, I could totally see him getting a miniature and spot on the tabletop, too. I don’t think I have to go into too much detail on this one. I will say that while he’s not the same type of magic user as someone like Doctor Strange, Blackheart is still a demon and would fit in with those types of characters. And I’m okay with that!

Morgan le Fay

So Morgan le Fay in Marvel is obviously based off the character with the same name from the Arthurian legend. That said she’s had quite the history in Marvel comics, too. She’s battled with Black Knight, Jessica Drew, Doctor Doom (well, “battled” him in other ways), The Avengers, and more. She’s even shown up on the TV series Runaways.

Morgan le Fay is a potent magical user and threat. She was even considered by the Eye of Agamotto as a possible Sorcerer Supreme at one point. Personally, I think that’s all the more reason she should make an appearance on the tabletop in MCP!

Shuma-Gorath

I know this one is a little weird but hear me out, Shuma-Gorath is more like a cosmic entity as it’s a Great Old One. And I know it’s just an eyeball with a bunch of tentacles…but if we can get a Dormammu then I think Shuma-Gorath should be on the tabletop, too! Honestly, I really just want to see what the sculptors at AMG could do with this character and I think it could be absolutely bonkers. I’m not sure how large Shuma-Gorath would be on the tabletop either. But I REALLY want to find out.

Daimon Hellstrom

The pitchfork, the pentagram, the flames…yeah, that’s Diamon Hellstrom for you. This Son of Satan is clearly of the occult persuasion and is another magic user in Marvel. He’s allied himself with the likes of the Defenders, Midnight Sons, S.H.I.E.L.D., and more. Personally, I just think he’d be a good addition due to his abilities. And maybe it could be a backdoor way to fill out the Defenders roster, too.
