Atomic Mass Games has released the latest Key Operation for Star Wars: Shatterpoint. It’s time for a Jailbreak!

Key Operations are a fun way to play Star Wars: Shatterpoint. They are more narrative focused with unique objectives and a linked story. Atomic Mass Games has released the third Key Operation with Jailbreak. This one has a focus on “what if the Aggressor’s previous mission didn’t go so smoothly?” Their team has been caught and now the Aggressor has to release them.

“Jailbreak uses a new mechanic for Key Operations, Operation tokens. These new tokens have the same back and Icon on their faceup side, allowing for hidden information. They will be used in a variety of ways in forthcoming Key Operations. In this Key Operation, the Icons on the tokens represent how much Suspicion you roused with the Guards from the Noise you made. Each Noise you make, you put a facedown Operation token on Noise area, then those tokens are revealed at the end of the Sentinel’s turn to determine how much Suspicion the Sentinel has gained. Each token can gain the Sentinel anywhere between 0 and 2 Suspicion.”

This Mission also has a cool side game that involves an Access Code Tracker, too. If you’re really looking to recreate any famous jailbreak scene from Star Wars, this mission really does capture those vibes.

The Key Operations are free to download directly from Atomic Mass Games. If you’re looking to try your hand at Jailbreaking you crew, or either of the other two Key Operations, you can do that right now. While I do enjoy a good straight-up skirmish I also enjoy these narrative-driven missions. They are a nice break from the regular games and can lead to some really cinematic moments.

I can think of a rescue attempt gone wrong…
