Steamforged Games is teaming up with Free League to bring the Epic Encounters – Ruins of Symbaroum to your tabletop!
This is the type of crossover we love to see. Two tabletop publishers have teamed-up to bring an awesome addition to your minis and RPG collections. The award-winning dark fantasy RPG Symbaroum is getting the Epic Encounters treatment. Welcome to the Ruins of Symbaroum!
For the first time, we’re venturing beyond the Titan mountains into the realm of Ambria, to bring you miniatures, maps, and encounters set in the dark fantasy world of Symbaroum.
That’s right. We’re beyond excited to be working with the talented folks at Free League on the first ever Epic Encounters collaboration!
Collectively titled Epic Encounters: Ruins of Symbaroum, the sets — Gem in the Barrow and Corrupted Coloss — combine the strange beauty and gripping narratives of Symbaroum with the adventure-in-a-box convenience of Epic Encounters.

We were pretty stoked to hear about this one. I’m personally a BIG fan of the Epic Encounters line and have been consistently pleased with their releases. As a fan of their miniatures Steamforged Games knocks them out the park. They are tough to beat as an “out of the box, ready to play” set of miniatures. The details and character really come through for each sculpt. And now the dark atomsphere of Symbaroum is going to be brought to life in these 3D miniatures. I can’t wait!

But it’s not just the minis I’m excited about. Epic Encounters are an entire package for players and GMs alike. Not only do you get the awesome minis, you also get guides on how you include these creatures in your RPG sessions. The maps and gameplay tips are invaluable to GMs trying to come up with ways to engage their players.
