A new narrative trailer reveals that things are getting grim and dark in the not-too-distant future—at least on Tertius. The new Grim Protocols narrative trailer showcases harrowing new events in store.
But don’t worry; there are plenty of new weapons coming, too. Including two-handed power swords and a heavy stubber for the Ogryn. Both of which are pretty exciting to see. Here’s a look at what’s coming to Darktide in the grim darkness of another month or so.
Warhammer 40K: Darktide Grim Protocols Trailer – That Can’t Be Good News
Grim Protocols shows off a fireteam pinned down by heavy lasfire, trying to desperately escape a bad situation. One of them manages to break away from the fierce fighting. But we all know what happens to members of the Militarum who wander off alone.
And it happens to this poor soul. But not before we learn that Grandfather Nurgle has plans for Tertium. Especially since the Hour of Admonition is apparently at hand. What does that mean? Probably a lot more Chaos guys who puke up horrible AoE zones that your fireteam keeps standing in. But it ALSO means new weapons.
First up, a heavy stubber for Ogryns. Won’t this be a spicy little meatball to have in anyone’s arsenal? Laying down a barrage of heavy firepower is the Imperium’s answer to most problems. But to be fair to them, it also solves most problems.
