World of Darkness: Month Of Darkness Celebration Highlights

October marked the ‘Month of Darkness’ celebration for World of Darkness. There were quite a few announcements. Here’s a few highlights.

Last month was the Month of Darkness celebration for the WoD franchise. There’s quite a few new products that were announced as well as some new teasers for the upcoming Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2. If you’re still dealing with the hangover of spooky season hopefully some of these highlights help to lighten the load.

Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 – New Trailer

Just a heads up this one has some NSFW language and imagery.

If you’ve been keeping up with the development of this game then you know it’s been a bit. The game is still hoping to release in the first half of 2025. It has a Steam page that’s up with more info as well. Additionally, there was an interesting read from the Dev Diary if you’re interested in checking out some more behind-the-scenes.

Vampire: The Masquerade – ‘In Memoriam’

Coming in May of 2025 another Vampire: The Masquerade sourcebook is coming. In Memoriam is all about creating characters you can call nouveaux elders. These kindred have been dead longer than they’ve been alive and are still kicking.

Vampire: The Masquerade Character Generator

If you want to make a character super quickly, even with no experience with the system, you can with a new Character Generator from  the WoD team. This Link will take you to their page. And, after answering a few quick questions, it can spit you out a brand new Vampire Character sheet for use in Vampire: The Masquerade. I made two sheets in less than 2 minutes just playing around with it. Once you’re done, you can download the PDF and you’re ready to play.

Hunter: The Reckoning – Apostates

If you’re more into punching back against the darkness then the new Hunter: The Reckoning sourcebook might interest you.

Apostates empowers players to repurpose the assets of their former employers — everything from classified intel to cutting-edge gear and clandestine networks. Play as these rogue agents or unleash them as unpredictable rivals in your Hunter: The Reckoning chronicle. Whether as allies or adversaries, the apostates and their former Orgs are bound to shake up your story.
