The holidays are stressful enough—channel some of yours into the Baldur’s Gate 3 Patch 8 stress test and help make crossplay a reality.

Larian Studios is going to give us all a late Christmas present in the form of Baldur’s Gate 3 Patch 8. The monstrously big patch will introduce 12 new subclasses, a photo mode, and the much looked-for PC/console crossplay update.

But Patch 8 won’t be out until next year. You, however, have a chance to play the patch early. Larian is looking for folks to stress test the crossplay elements, among other things. So you can help your Baldur’s Gate 3 dreams become realities and get to play the new patch early.

Baldur’s Gate 3 Patch 8 Stress Test – The Good Kind Of Holiday Stress

The holidays can be a stressful time. And while I know that there isn’t some sort of transitive property of emotions that lets you make stress fungible from one subject to the next (if only), you can give yourself a little break from the stress of it all by stressing out Larian’s servers.

At least, I think that’s how that works. You’ll have to sign up for that to see exactly how it works. Which you can do at the link at the end of the article.

Patch 8 for Baldur’s Gate 3 will be the game’s final major update. But what a doozy of an update it will be. As mentioned, its features include console crossplay and new subclasses, including the Death Cleric, Arcane Archer, Drunken Master, College of Eloquence Bard and more.

In order to register, you’ll need a Larian account, but you already have one if you’ve been playing Baldur’s Gate 3.

The perfect kind of stress for this time of year!
