Hit Point Press, publishers of the Humblewood campaign setting, have made the core book Pay What You Want!
Humblewood is one of the more popular (and good) third-party D&D settings of there. And it’s not hard to see what the appeal is. You play as an adventurer, usually some form of bird, and have cozier but no less nthrilling adventures.
The titular wood is full of adventure and intrigue. While the book is full of new playable species and other options that will let you lice out your animal adventurer dreams with your new character. Plus, the book includes a free pdf with updates for the 5.5E ruleset, so even if you’re playing with the new 2024 Player’s Handbook, the campaign setting is still compatible.
