Free League Teams Up With ‘Outgunned’, The Action-Movie RPG
Free League announced a publishing partnership with Two Little Mice, makers of Outgunned, a “cinematic action RPG”.
Good news for fans of the award-winning Cinematic Action RPG Outgunned. Two Little Mice, the games studio behind Outgunned and Free League, publishers of a host of RPGs, from The One Ring to Tales from the Loop, have announced a publishing partnership today.
In a nutshell, Free League will be publishing Outgunned under its Free League Workshop sub-label for “externally developed” or 3rd Party games. Which means now there are even more ways to find and try Outgunned.
Free League Teams Up With Makers of Outgunned
Per the announcement, the Outgunned core rulebook is now available at the Free League webstore. If you’re unfamiliar with Outgunned, the best way I can think to put it is it’s an action movie RPG. It promises to deliver you the same kind of blockbuster, set-piece mayhem that you might find in its inspirational source material, including Hot Fuzz, Atomic Blonde, James Bond, and John Wick.
Its “Director’s Cut” system helped it win the Silver ENnie for Best Game. It’s a d6, dice pool based system where you try to put together multiples of a kind instead of high or low. So there’s a lot of room for variance.
In addition to the core rulebook, Free League will also be offering TLM’s Outgunned expansions: Action Flicks and World of Killers (the John Wick one), as well as the mini campaign, Project Medusa. You can find all of these linked below.
“In Outgunned, Players take on the orle of action Heroes facing terrible odds. They will be constantly surrounded by enemies while trying to carry out their mission, be it robbing a casino or saving the day.”
Happy adventuring!
