Games Workshop: Vote For Miniature of the Year 2024
Now is your time to make your voice heard by voting for your favorite miniature from Games Workshop for 2024!
Games Workshop released a TON of miniatures this year for their various game systems. And now it’s time to figure out which miniatures are best of 2024! You can do that by telling GW directly and voting on them.
This year, GW is doing things slightly different from previous years. I’ll let them explain.
“2024 has been packed with incredible new Warhammer miniatures, and in time-honoured tradition, it’s time to vote for your favourites in the Miniature of the Year awards. This time though, things are a little different. Warhammer 40,000 and Warhammer Age of Sigmar are getting their own categories (including related games like Kill Team and Warhammer Underworlds), while our other games including Warhammer: The Horus Heresy, Warhammer: The Old World, Necromunda, and Legions Imperialis make up the third.”
So now instead of all the miniatures from all the systems competing, we’ve got them grouped by their respective systems of 40k, AoS, and Other. That said, all of the votes are in one survey. So go here to make your selections.
Warhammer 40,000
Of all the categories, I actually think Warhammer 40,000 is the shortest in terms of pure numbers. We did get quite a few impressive kits this year. We also got a few…less popular ones.
But again this is for the BEST miniature of the year. I’m curious to see which miniature or unit will win this year. Unlike previous years, we don’t have a Primarch or Daemon Prince miniature to duke it out. I really know know if there’s an obvious winner. So it’s up to the community to vote!
Warhammer: Age of Sigmar
For AoS, there’s quite a lot of competition for miniature released in 2024. Technically, Ushoran, Mortarch of Delusion was a 2024 release (he’s on the list). But so is Abraxia. Plus all the Darkoath and Stormcasts were released. But, based on the global campaign this past Summer, I think the Skaven might come out ahead.
But there’s also some other candidates in the mix that could have a good showing. Krethusa the Croneseer seems to be an internet favorite …for reasons. And I’m not going to rule out some of the other characters or unit kits either. Personally, I think this category might be the most contested so we’ll have to wait and see!
Warhammer: Other Miniatures
This is really an “everything” category and it’s the largest block to vote on. I mean we’ve got the new Necromunda miniatures vs the Legions Imperialis releases. And we’ve got Forge World minis in there vs Old World releases.
There’s also a TON of other Horus Heresy kits and releases to consider. I don’t even know where to start with this entire category. Good luck choosing a favorite from this batch.
If you’re feeling indecisive or just want to take your time with this vote you can. The voting closes Friday, December 13th. So you’ve got the rest of the week to make an informed decision. Or just vote for your favorite chaos miniatures from each category. It’s what the dark gods would want anyhow.
Even with three categories it’s a TOUGH vote.
