When the fires of faith on Necromunda need a fuel added to them the Noble House Ko’iron knows just what to do.

The faith in the Emperor of Man is a powerful tool within the Imperium. House Cawdor is very familiar with using that zealotry. But they aren’t the only ones who know how to manipulate faith to get things done. Noble House Ko’iron wears the trappings of the Imperial Creed. But upon closer inspection it may just be a shield to cover up some of their other activities…

“To the unwashed, the touch of the Materis is akin to the golden grace of the Emperor, and her word carries a weight even among the gangs and their leaders. All of this sacred religious ephemera acts as a veil to the true intentions of House Ko’iron, as they indulge in scheming, assassination, and industrial sabotage through their esteemed operatives, wearing the will of the most holy Emperor as a facade.”

Noble House Ko’iron In Necromunda

This set consists of three miniatures. We have the Prima Materis who’s a priestess of the God-Emperor. She’s accompanied by two veteran Frateris Bodyguards.

I could easily see how the citizens of Necromunda could be persuaded by their Imperial Creed dress. In fact, if you squint just right, you can see how they could be a reimagining of the Emperor and his Custodes. They certainly would never want folks to think they were the Emperor and his guards. But they probably appreciate it when the citizens of Necromunda give them a wide berth.

That said, don’t mistake their looks for folks just putting on a show. They can more than handle themselves if and when things get a little rough.

“Venturing into the underhive is dangerous business, and the Prima Materis is surprisingly adept in combat, armed with a shock stave and boltgun. It is the Frateris Bodyguard who are first into the fray, however, with their ornate chainblades and lasguns.”

Also, in the Grimdark, faith does have a funny way of manifesting. Some might attributed it to psychic phenomenon. Others might believe it’s the will of the Emperor. And some folks believe so strongly in the Emperor that it’s the faith itself that helps them keep their Cool. In this case, literally.

So this rule really has a 1/36 chance of kicking in whenever you’re rolling a Rally or Nerve Test. However, when it DOES kick in, you’ll like that you’ve got it for sure.

You can find the rules for this Delegation in the House of Faith book. Additionally, if you want to run them as part of an Outcast Delegation, you’ll want a copy of the Book of Outcasts as well. All of these miniatures are coming ion Forge World Resin and will be arriving in a single pack.
